I have been actively involved in sport for over 20 years,This has included martial arts, running, aerobics and weight lifting.Unfortunately 10 years ago I developed a back injury and effectively my training stopped, it was as if my life had ended, that may sound dramatic but I’m sure many others have and do feel like this. One day by chance I watched a yoga class at my local health club,the flow and movements interested me as Ihad not seen this type of yoga before. I had always considered yoga to be a ‘soft’ and relaxing form of exercise designed for later life when bouncing over a step in aerobics is no longer possible. Over 7 years of practice have led me to open my own studio in order to teach a style that I have developed solely for people with a sports background.
